It’s amazing how many good finds there are in flea markets and bargain stores, so make sure to make the most out of them by taking the time to scout your area for thrift shops. Also, carefully evaluate the things you already have and try to come up with new and creative ways to make use of them. Be resourceful and imaginative; try not to be so quick on the disposal of your stuff. The world’s overload with waste as it is so you can do both society and yourself a favor by not adding up to it. Before shopping at discount stores though, be sure to get only what you need, and by this we mean the things you are sure to use. It’s easy to lose control and end up filling your house with second-hand finds but they will look like clutter if you’re not careful.
